Nokia Trends Lab is a flexible, music-led, entertainment platform that consists of events, retail activations, consumer involvement and pre-event campaign activity. The platforms focus is to allow the core functionalities of the featured handsets: music, film, photography and design to perform in engaging and creative ways. The project is about experimentation and involvement while always remaining approachable to the mainstream.

Experimenting with mobility and creativity, that is the purpose of the Nokia Trends Lab. It challenges people to push their creative boundaries, using every possible mobile technology. Making videos, taking pictures and even developing new mobile applications, it is all part of the experiment. Every creative domain has its own lab and every lab has its expert Mentor, who picks out the most groundbreaking ideas and helps shaping them. The results of the collaborations are presented through a series of Nokia Trends Lab Events.
